Tucked into Albert Park’s heritage streetscape, Victoria by Finnis Architects presents a bold architectural counterpoint to its red brick surroundings. Defined by a darkened palette and refined geometry, the three-storey residence is both responsive to context and unapologetically contemporary in expression.

At Victoria, hardware was selected not as an afterthought, but as part of the home’s broader material language. Huntress Design sought tactile, high-quality fittings that would complement the richness of stone, timber, and metal, while adding subtle distinction to the joinery.
The Niki cabinet knobs and Montana cabinet lip pulls were chosen for their sculptural simplicity and their ability to sit naturally within the project’s restrained palette. Finished in Satin Brass Unlacquered, they introduce warmth, softness, and a living quality that will continue to evolve.
In Victoria, detail is never overstated. Instead, it is resolved with precision and restraint. The selected hardware contributes quietly to the atmosphere of the home, reinforcing an interior language shaped by contrast, richness, and thoughtful simplicity.
