Set along the harbourside in Mosman, this residence by Greg Natale Design is a study in rich materiality and sculptural restraint. Inspired by Milan’s Villa Necchi Campiglio, the home blends pared-back classicism with elements of Italian rationalism, brutalism, and art deco, creating a layered environment that feels both timeless and boldly contemporary.

Across its four levels, twenty-eight varieties of stone define the interior experience — burgundy, pink, green, and ivory tones shifting in pattern and texture from geometric layouts to Palladiana mosaics. These surfaces break up the home’s generous volumes with warmth and rhythm, supported by refined timber treatments, fluted walls, and square-panelled cabinetry that echo the project’s sculptural cues.
Within this carefully orchestrated palette, Designer Doorware’s custom square pull cabinet handles were crafted to align with the home’s architectural geometry. Used across kitchen and bathroom joinery, their Antique Brass Light finish offers a quiet counterpoint to the surrounding stone, sitting comfortably among the neutral and metallic accents that weave through the interior.
Considered in proportion and tone, the hardware becomes part of the home’s broader design narrative — a subtle but deliberate detail that reinforces the project’s commitment to craftsmanship and enduring elegance.
